My top three are Guinness (of course) and it really is better in Ireland. I love the black stuff for the smooth creamy flavor. I also like that it is so filling and low in alcohol content, because you can drink a few, feel satisfied and not end up too tipsy.
My second favorite is our own Nimbus Old Monkeyshine. I like this beer for the combination of sweetness and body. This one is higher in alcohol 8.2% abv. It is good sipping beer and perfect if you only want one or two.
My Third is Fat Tire. It has such a unique flavor and compared to the two above, it is a little lighter in color and body. This, is the perfect BBQ beer.
My favortite beer always changes, right now it is Deschuttes black butte porter. It is smooth and has a great aftertaste. Definitely the best porter I have tried.
There is a beer in switzerland called feldschlossen. I think it is the swiss equivelant to budweiser. I love it, it is crisp and it comes in huge bottles. I haven’t seen it in the states though. As I look back it could just be the memories of being in switzerland.
Last but not least I love Alaskan amber ale. It is smooth has a great taste and is a great summertime bbq beer.
